Gen.5:1 This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Gen.5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Gen.5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Gen.5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
Gen.5:6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
Gen.5:7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
Gen.5:9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
Gen.5:10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
Gen.5:12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
Gen.5:13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
Gen.5:15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
Gen.5:16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
Gen.5:18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
Gen.5:19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
Gen.5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
Gen.5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
Gen.5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.
Gen.5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
Gen.5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
Gen.5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
Gen.5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This [same] shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
Gen.5:30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen.5:31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
Gen.5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Matt.5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
Matt.5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
Matt.5:3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matt.5:4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Matt.5:5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Matt.5:6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matt.5:7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Matt.5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Matt.5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matt.5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matt.5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Matt.5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matt.5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Matt.5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matt.5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Matt.5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matt.5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matt.5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matt.5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matt.5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matt.5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Matt.5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Matt.5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Matt.5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Matt.5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Matt.5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
Matt.5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Matt.5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Matt.5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Matt.5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Matt.5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
Matt.5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Matt.5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
Matt.5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Matt.5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
Matt.5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
Matt.5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Matt.5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
Matt.5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Matt.5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have [thy] cloke also.
Matt.5:41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
Matt.5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
Matt.5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Matt.5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Matt.5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Matt.5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Matt.5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so?
Matt.5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Ezra5:1 Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that [were] in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, [even] unto them.
Ezra5:2 Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which [is] at Jerusalem: and with them [were] the prophets of God helping them.
Ezra5:3 At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
Ezra5:4 Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?
Ezra5:5 But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this [matter].
Ezra5:6 The copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and his companions the Apharsachites, which [were] on this side the river, sent unto Darius the king:
Ezra5:7 They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.
Ezra5:8 Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands.
Ezra5:9 Then asked we those elders, [and] said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?
Ezra5:10 We asked their names also, to certify thee, that we might write the names of the men that [were] the chief of them.
Ezra5:11 And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.
Ezra5:12 But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.
Ezra5:13 But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon [the same] king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.
Ezra5:14 And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that [was] in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto [one], whose name [was] Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;
Ezra5:15 And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that [is] in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place.
Ezra5:16 Then came the same Sheshbazzar, [and] laid the foundation of the house of God which [is] in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and [yet] it is not finished.
Ezra5:17 Now therefore, if [it seem] good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure house, which [is] there at Babylon, whether it be [so], that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.

Acts5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
Acts5:2 And kept back [part] of the price, his wife also being privy [to it], and brought a certain part, and laid [it] at the apostles' feet.
Acts5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land?
Acts5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
Acts5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Acts5:6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried [him] out, and buried [him].
Acts5:7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
Acts5:8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
Acts5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband [are] at the door, and shall carry thee out.
Acts5:10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying [her] forth, buried [her] by her husband.
Acts5:11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
Acts5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
Acts5:13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
Acts5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
Acts5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
Acts5:16 There came also a multitude [out] of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
Acts5:17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,
Acts5:18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.
Acts5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
Acts5:20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
Acts5:21 And when they heard [that], they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
Acts5:22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,
Acts5:23 Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.
Acts5:24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
Acts5:25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
Acts5:26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
Acts5:27 And when they had brought them, they set [them] before the council: and the high priest asked them,
Acts5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
Acts5:29 Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Acts5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Acts5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand [to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Acts5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and [so is] also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Acts5:33 When they heard [that], they were cut [to the heart], and took counsel to slay them.
Acts5:34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;
Acts5:35 And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.
Acts5:36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.
Acts5:37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, [even] as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.
Acts5:38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
Acts5:39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
Acts5:40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten [them], they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
Acts5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
Acts5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
